Our robot consists of three main parts. A ball collector, ball storage/transfer, and ball shooter. The ball collector is made of flexible legos, with a novel transfer mechanism. Finally, it shoots the balls with a two wheels that are geared to spin at high speeds.
Throughout the season we ran into many issues with the robot. Anywhere from no movement at all to tires coming off to loose gears. We solved our issues by talking about them as a team, brainstorming ideas, and persevering until the task was completed.
The collector is made-up of flexible LEGO shafts and geared for speed. The rotating brushes sweep the balls into the robot.

The middle section is a ball conveyor belt. This belt is made-up of over 210 zip ties that rotate on three powered shafts. This device drags the balls from the collector up the back of the robot and into the ball shooter.
The shooter is a multi-gear layer high speed shooting device made-up of two rotating tires which the balls ball between, shooting them into the goals.
